My long-standing relationship with Yesbank as a customer of their NRE (Non-Residential External) account has taken a turn for the worse. The bank's recent handling of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process has left me utterly frustrated and appalled by their lack of professionalism, negligence, and disregard for customer concerns.
Despite personally visiting the Shalimar Bagh branch (AG 23, SHALIMAR BAGH, NEW DELHI, DELHI, DELHI-110088) in Delhi, India, and having a face-to-face meeting with the bank manager to complete my KYC requirements, the bank's records shockingly indicate that my KYC is still pending. This blatant discrepancy is not only inconvenient but also reflects a severe lack of attention to detail and a disregard for maintaining accurate customer information.
In my attempt to rectify this issue, I resorted to contacting Yesbank's customer support through numerous emails. However, to my dismay, not a single response was received. It is deeply concerning that the bank fails to acknowledge or address customer queries, especially when it involves a critical matter such as KYC compliance.
What is even more disheartening is the complete lack of interest on the bank's part to verify the situation with the bank manager, despite my explicit request for them to do so. It is alarming that Yesbank's customer support team did not care to check with the branch manager or provide any form of follow-up or resolution to this ongoing issue.
The absence of communication and response from Yesbank not only demonstrates their disregard for customer satisfaction but also raises serious questions about their commitment to maintaining a reliable and efficient banking service.
As a customer who has entrusted my financial affairs to Yesbank for several years, I am deeply disappointed and disillusioned by the bank's negligence and lack of professionalism. Their failure to address and resolve a simple matter like KYC compliance reflects poorly on their overall service quality and customer care.
I strongly caution anyone considering opening an NRE account with Yesbank to think twice. The bank's utter negligence, disregard for customer concerns, and failure to communicate effectively are clear indications of a declining institution. I encourage individuals to explore alternative banking options that prioritize customer satisfaction and demonstrate a higher level of competence and professionalism.
In conclusion, my experience with Yesbank's NRE account and their handling of the KYC process has been nothing short of a nightmare. The bank's negligence, lack of communication, and failure to address my concerns have shattered my trust in their services. It is evident that Yesbank is far from being a reliable and customer-centric institution.
